Distinguished Colleagues

Time flies, and once again we are about to gather for our annual academic rendezvous. In recent years, the global field of cerebrovascular disease research has flourished: the quality of clinical studies has steadily improved, and innovative achievements have emerged continuously. From intravenous thrombolysis to mechanical thrombectomy, from secondary prevention to rehabilitation therapy, a series of high-quality clinical studies led by Chinese researchers have not only been frequently published in top international journals, but also provided crucial Chinese evidence for the revision of global stroke prevention and treatment guidelines.

Looking ahead to 2026, this momentum of development will undoubtedly become even more prominent. We are in a new era where technological innovation and medical advancement are deeply integrated. Three critical questions confront every professional in the stroke field: how to closely integrate cutting-edge technology with clinical practice, how to organically combine international progress with China’s national conditions, and how to effectively translate research evidence into tangible benefits for patients.

It is for this reason that the 2026 Annual Meeting will uphold our long-standing academic mission and focus deeply on the latest advances in cerebrovascular disease. The conference will feature carefully curated forums covering multiple topics, including intravenous thrombolysis, mechanical thrombectomy, secondary prevention, rehabilitation therapy, imaging evaluation, and critical care management. Leading experts and scholars from home and abroad will share the latest research findings, exchange academic ideas, and explore solutions to clinical challenges through keynote speeches, heated debates, and other formats.

We hope this platform will provide a high-level, practice-oriented academic exchange space for colleagues nationwide, enabling every participant to gain knowledge and inspiration. Together, we will advance the high-quality development of stroke prevention and treatment in China.

It is with great sincerity that I invite all colleagues to gather in Beijing, at the China National Convention Center Phase II, from June 26 to 28, 2026. Let us join hands to discuss cutting-edge academic progress, plan for disciplinary development, and witness new breakthroughs and achievements in China’s cerebrovascular disease research!

I look forward to meeting you in Beijing!
